The image itself has captured an excellent amount of detail, the sign of a good camera. However, the shadows could just a bit of contrast shaping and or exposure in photoshop to really bring out the details in your vision. The inner most circles, more specifically the dark wooden band could use the same variety of touch up. As per originality this is not something you created, but you took a nice shot of it. So, I can't rater you overly high in this sector. If you'd like I could take a whack at the image and see what I come up with, but I would not want to offend you so I only ask. Otherwise excellent image and brilliant choice of material, angle, style, and general lightning. Thanks for the the history lesson ;)

Symmetrical, yet not identical. Beautiful! The lighting is perfect.

This is gorgeous! I'm drawn into the center, but I keep forcing myself out of the daze of staring because there's so much beauty around the center. Where/what is this?
