It's a nice photo (not great), but it's a great fashion portrait. I think you chose a great pose for these products. The bowed head makes it look mysterious; like he's hiding something. And the lighting, with that shadow on one side of his face, makes it even more mysterious. I'm just not shure about his expression. For me it now looks like he is thinking really hard, or trying to imagine something. If that was your intention, then: great job. I think it would have been better if his eyes were open. His hands are in a good position as well. Left hand down to show the sleeve. Right hand forward to portrait some action. So overall (about the pose): everyone can make his/her own story behind this photo. In that way the photo gets more personal, and that's a good thing.
Hair and make-up: I love the hair. The top is smooth and silky, like the boots, pants and 'shirt'. And at the side it is short, and that makes it more matt and have a rougher texture like the wool coat has. It's like the clothes were a inspiration for this haircut. And that also counts for his '5 o'clock shadow' next to his smooth skin. I can't say anything about the make-up, because it is hard to see what is make-up and what is because of retouch. Retouch: Great desaturation. Just enough to see some skincolour, and not to much to make it (look like) a grayscale image. Design: Were these clothes inspired by Star Wars? I get a kind of Anakin Skywalker feeling with this photo; just before he went to the dark side. So in my story behind this he is getting his lightsaber from under his coat. (It's not my intention to sound negative about the design, because I really like it. Mostly because it's new and exceptional.) And yes I know that this (my story) has an influence on my perspective and opinion, but I hope it didn't influence my feedback on this great fashion portrait.
