Gripping, powerful and yet delicate. Not delicate like a flower, but of the soul. A picture is worth a 1000 words and sometimes words are not enough and this photo seems to have a silent story untold.
The lighting is dramatic and captivating, as are the tones, especially around the eyes. This forces the view to be instantaneously pulled into the picture, nay, the subject. Once you are drawn there you notice the slight stern look and wonder, what is this intensity, what is the model thinking.
The eye flow works beautifully, however I would have made better use of the rule of thirds, but then you're a better photographer than me <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Big Grin)"/>.
